ABOUT FLAIR

Flair Dance Company began in 2021 as the Flair Dance Festival, a one-night performance designed to bring dancers together to create, connect, and inspire after the arts had been largely shut down for over a year. The festival gave performers a chance to celebrate movement, collaboration, and resilience in a world that had felt disconnected.
Inspired by the festival’s success, Christina and John produced Cracked Nuts, a comedic holiday dance-play, marking the official founding of Flair Dance Company in 2022. The production gave dancers a full-length show to shine on stage, building on the sense of connection first sparked by the Festival.
In 2023, Flair opened its studio in Collingswood, NJ, offering programs for both adults and children. Today, the kids’ classes are at the heart of the company, giving students a place to discover dance, build confidence, and explore their creativity. Following the studio’s opening, both the Festival and Cracked Nuts became annual productions, giving dancers of all ages, backgrounds, and styles regular opportunities to perform and grow.
Alongside Christina and John’s personal journey, including their engagement, Flair Dance Company has grown into a hub for community. Families often share how shy children find their voice through dance. Older students rediscover their love for movement, and everyone leaves class inspired. Every rehearsal, every class, and every performance is an opportunity for growth, joy, and connection.
From a one-night festival to recurring productions to a thriving studio, Flair Dance Company has become a place where children and adults alike can step into their potential, explore creativity, and celebrate achievement together.
